Paweł Link-Lenczowski
Jagiellonian University
Dr Paweł Link-Lenczowski is an assistant professor in the Department of Medical Physiology at the Collegium Medicum of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków. Since 2024, he has led the Glycomics Laboratory at the Center for the Development of Therapies for Civilization and Age-Related Diseases (CDT-CARD), Jagiellonian University Medical College.
He obtained his PhD in 2012 from the Institute of Zoology and Biomedical Research at the Jagiellonian University. His research focuses broadly on the role of glycosylation and its alterations in human physiology and pathology. In recent years, his work has concentrated primarily on understanding the functional significance of changes in protein N-glycosylation in the biology of the intestinal epithelial barrier, both in health and disease.
Additionally, his interests include the development and implementation of advanced instrumental methods for the qualitative and quantitative analysis of glycans in biological material, particularly ultra-performance liquid chromatography (UPLC) and mass spectrometry.
He has further developed his research expertise during international research fellowships at leading glycobiology centers, including the Oxford Glycobiology Institute and the Leiden University Medical Center.
