Maksym Danchenko

Maksym Danchenko (h-index 14) is trained plant physiologist and biochemist with a degree from Institute of Cell Biology and Genetic Engineering (Kyiv, Ukraine). Currently, he leads young dynamic Plant Stress Group in Nitra, Slovakia. Maksym relies on proteomics as a core technology for exploring curious biological questions: (i) trap morphogenesis and hunting in carnivorous plants; (ii) interplay of chronic ionizing radiation and pathogens in aquatic plants; as well as (iii) drought stress and recovery in crops. Last year, his group received main research award of Slovak Academy of Sciences.
