Katarzyna Arkusz

Katarzyna Arkusz serves as a Professor at the University of Zielona Góra (Poland) and Director of the Institute of Materials Engineering and Biomedical Engineering. Her research interests include electrochemical biosensors, biomaterials, and advanced surface engineering for biomedical applications. Her work combines electrochemistry, materials science, and nanotechnology in the development of sensitive and biocompatible sensing platforms for medical diagnostics and bioanalytical applications.
She obtained her PhD degree at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków and her habilitation degree at the Silesian University of Technology. Prof. Arkusz is the author and co-author of over 40 JCR-indexed scientific publications and patents related to biosensors, biomaterials, and biomedical engineering. She has participated in 19 national and international research projects.
