Anna Timofiejczuk, D.Sc., Eng., Associate Professor at SUT
works at the Department of Fundamentals of Machine Design at the Silesian University of Technology (SUT), where her research focuses on the application of artificial intelligence in technical diagnostics, maintenance engineering, and Industry 4.0 technologies. Since 2024, she has been a member of the team establishing and managing the PolSV Center for Science, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, based in Silicon Valley, United States. At the PolSV Center, she is responsible for developing collaboration with Polish and American universities and research institutions.
At the Silesian University of Technology, she previously served as Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Deputy Director of the Silesian University of Technology Industry 4.0 Center, and Coordinator of the Priority Research Area "Process Automation and Industry 4.0." In 2018, together with her team, she co-founded the first Industry 4.0 Competence Center in Poland.
She currently serves as Chair of the Council for Competencies in Automation and Robotics. She has also been a member of the Automotive Council, including Electromobility, at the Polish Ministry of Development and Technology, the Program Council of the Automotive & Advanced Manufacturing Cluster, and the Scientific Council of OBRUM Ltd.
